Who we are

Information we collect
When you place a pickup order on our website, we collect:
- Your name and phone number so we can prepare the right order and contact you about pickup.
- An optional email address for receipts and order confirmations.
- Order details — the items, quantities, and pickup time you selected.
- Standard web analytics data such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you viewed, used to keep the site fast and secure.
Payment information (card numbers, CVV) is collected and processed by Clover on their own secure checkout page — we never see or store your card details.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your pickup order.
- To contact you if there's a problem with your order.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting purposes.
- To improve the website and prevent abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.
Who we share it with
We share only what's necessary with the following providers:
- Clover (Fiserv) — processes payments and routes orders to our in-store point-of-sale.
- Vercel — hosts the website and stores short-term server logs.
- Google Maps — shows you where we are on the Contact page (if you load it).
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We cooperate with legal authorities when required by law.
Cookies and tracking
We use a minimal number of functional cookies to remember what's in your cart and keep you logged in during checkout. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights (under PIPEDA)
As a customer in Canada, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccuracies.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent for future marketing contact at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@tikkaking.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Order and customer data is retained for as long as required by Canadian tax law (currently 7 years), and deleted thereafter. Website analytics are retained for no more than 26 months.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
